Military Academies and Institutes Admission Office:

       
 A précis of the Admission Office of Military Academies and Institutes:
The Admission Office was established according to order number 27 issued by the president of the United Arab Republic in 1962.
The Office is headed by the Commandant of the Military Academy who is in authority to issue decisions, instructions, and orders he deems necessary    to organize office tasks.

It is formed of Commandants of Military Academies and Institutes to choose cadets of those who meet admission requirements according to preference standards set for each academy by the supreme council of the Military Academies.

The decisions of the council, mentioned in article seven, are declared after the approval of the Chief of Staff and Commandants of the main branches of the Armed Forces and get the decisions of the council ratified by the General Commander of the Armed Forces.
 The System and Terms of joining Military Academies:
This is carried out through the Admission Office of Military Academies and Institutes.
As for the Military Academy, the following categories of students are accepted:
 

     (a) High school graduates and their equivalents.

     (b) Al-Azhar high school graduates.

(c) Egyptian universities graduates and their equivalents according to the specialties needed for the armed forces.

(d) Foreign cadets from Arab, African and Asian ally countries according to admission terms.
The stages the applicants go through in the admission office:
 

(a) Declaration of a new batch to join the Military academies and Institutes in different media.

(b) Getting the application file from the Admission Office, filling it out, and submitting it back to the Office.

(c) A personal features test + general information test + Arabic language test.

(d) Medical checkup.

(e) Physical fitness test.

(f) Qualifying subjects tests in (Arabic language – mathematics – general information).

(g) Psychological test.

(h) Personal test (OPI).

(i) Final medical checkup test.

(j) Announcing the admission results.
   
Worthy be it to mention that the total number of foreign cadets graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy so far comes to (2872 cadets) from 34  different Arab, African, and Asian countries.
   
General instruction for those interested in joining the Military Academy
Dear students (males/ females)
There is some general advice that you have to comprehend before joining the military academy:
 

a- we want to know you truthfully, so mention nothing but the truth  while filling out the application file, and do not jot down any incorrect  data or purposely deny any.

b- While filling out your application, don’t pay attention to anyone telling you to state any incorrect data because he is deceiving you.

c- The student and his father (the guardian) have to fill out all the data then sign it as a guarantor & co- guarantor.

d- You are allowed to apply for the academy just once a year.

e- Be it known that the final result is announced at the Admission Office of the Military Academies and Institutes located at the Military Academy in Heliopolis.

f- Mentioning any untrue or false data subjects you to judicial inquiry, even after joining the academy or the institute.

               There are certain locations for selling the application files of the Military Academies & Institutes
 

Cairo:        (Heliopolis), the Main Office for applying.

Alexandria: (sports school in Smouha)

Asyoot:     (at the Headquarter of the southern military zone)

El-Menia :  (at the military sports school)

The pre-mentioned locations are the only authorized locations for selling the application files of the Military Academies & Institutes with a special numerical system…. Don't be tricked/deceived buying an application file form any unauthorized exploitable sources….as such files will be rejected.

 Know that:
 

a- There is no any form of favoritism or nepotism.

b- Some individuals claim, falsely, that they are in contact with the officials of the admission office. Do not fall for any financial exploitation that doesn’t have the merest effect on being admitted. Regretfully, some of them are officials, top retired, or those who have been fired from the governmental departments

c- When it comes to your future, have trust in God and in your abilities.
