Historical Background
The
need for an association to take care of the vetrans and war
victims
along with their famielies,came into existence right after
palestine war in 1948 .
The
association was founded in 1951 to provide comprehensive social
care to the
vetrans ,war
victims and their families .
The
association became a member of the world veterans Federation in
1953
international organization located in Paris ,France .
In 1964 the
association turned out to be under the supervision
of the Ministry of Social Affairs according to the new act
No.32/1964.
In 1971, Act
No.91 was issued and stiputlated that the Minister of War
was to be
granted the Jurisdictions of the
minister of Social Affairs ,
An act that made the association under the supervision of the Minister of
War once again ,and since that time , the scope of care and
attention given
to the role of the association has been extremely augmented
particularly during
the last few years.
Nowadays,
The association is receiving constant support by
Ministery of defence ,as sort of support that is actually worthy
of praise as a natural result of the directives of
President Mohamed Hossni Mubarak The President of
The Arab Republic of Egyptand The Supreme Commander of The
Egyptian Armed Forces.
