On May
22,1932 and at Hatfield
airfield, the first five Egyptian
planes
took off with 3 Egyptian pilots
along
with two British pilots and
landed at Almaza airbase in 1932.
Within the next two years the
second group of students joined the air force
school at Abu Soeir, and they were five
students.
In 1932 a British squadron leader
called " Victor Tit " was appointed as
the first commander of the Egyptian Air Force and
he was given a rank of Col. |

then the deals for buying
British planes have continued, and on Apr
26,1937 the status of the Egyptian AirForce was
as follows:-
16 Afro-626 - 6 Dehafiland -

Hocker Odaks - 1 Afro-642 -
1
Afro-652 - 1 Westland .
27 Officers - 3 British men , and
a number of Technicians with a total of 415
men. The air force headquarters
was at Almaza airbase.
