The Air Force has five squadrons as follows   :- 
1st Squadron 18 Westland 
Aceander planes at Almaza.   
2nd Squadron ( fighters ) 18 globester Gladiator at  El-Dekheila.   
3rd Squadron (transportation)  8 Anson, Persival KU - 6, Westland , Afro-642 at 
Almaza. 
4th Squadron ( Bombers ) 18 Hoker Odaks
5th Squadron ( at  Fighters ) 18 Gloweaster Gladiator El-Dekheila.   
Air force school 5  Dehaveland- 18 Hoker  Odaks - 9 Miles Majester at  Almaza.   
Up till the year 1942 our planes reached 140

After the end of the world war the 
status of the  Egyptian Air force was as follows :- 
138 Officers - 2305 Enlisted -  950 Civilian - 154 Planes.    
In 1949 the Air force High  School's name was changed to be   the Royal Air force College and by the end of the first quarter of the year 1950 it was moved to Belbais  air field.
