Between 1952 and 1967
Until August 1953 30 Vampire Mark-5 planes joined the Air Force. In1954 the Egyptian Air Force started a new era in arranging its rows to shoulder the responsibility of defending the Suez Canal after the British Air Force left its bases and the air force became as follows:-  
49 Vampire - 16 Metior - 3 Lancaster  -3 Halyfaky -
40
 Shipping  planes - Some training planes.  
In 1955 the  first Eastern weapon deal was made and through that Egypt  got the following:- 86 Mig -15 - 39 Elioshin - 28 - 20 Elioshin -14 - 35 Yak-11  
In the same year, the first Egyptian training plane was produced in the 
Egyptian factories and it was called Gomhoreya.  
In 1956 the Air Force got the following :-  
12 Elioshin 28 - 100 Mig 17 - 40 Yak training planes -
18 Me
  -1 and Me - 4. 
The year 1958 represented an important leap in Egyptian Airforce history , when the Russian Jet 
planes joined the service and these planes  were :-  
Mig-19 - Mig-21 - TU-16 Bombers - Antinof-12 transport planes.  
In the year 1964 Egypt got the Me-6 Helicopters which were considered the biggest then.    
In 1965 Egypt received the advanced training
plane L-29 jet.   
 
In the beginning of the year 1967 Egypt received the Sokhoy-7 Fighter.    
In the early 60's the first Egyptian  jet plane was built in cooperation with Spanish expertise and it was named Helwan-200 , and also the first jet fighter Cairo-300 was
built
 in cooperation with Chinese expertise
