Egypt seeks the co-operation of the international community to provide assistance as follow:

Funding assistance so the demining program can be accomplished.
Advanced mechanical equipment .
Advanced landmine detectors which are capable of detecting mines in depth exceeding 1.5 meter .
Conducting thermal , radial and laser scanning for contaminated areas since Second World War to
determine the exact borders of landmine fields.
Providing modern protective equipment ( suits , shoes and helmets) .
Providing necessary ambulances and support vehicles .
